A elf kingdom ha seven getting mysteriously attacked by a graceful but dangerous dragon. In the recents weeks the dragon has started to take no loot and only burn and kill. The king is worried so he invited elves and humans that have a reputation for something -wether good or bad- and asked them to either slay the dragon, or stop her. (The king caked the dragon StormRaider)

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

The king sat in the meeting room in a throne at the end of a room. With a sigh he started tapping his finger on the armrest clearly impatient. “Darling, there not here yet and I’m sure at least one of them a gonna be late. Some of them are from a different kingdom after all” the queen said resting her hand on the kings.
