Kaia woke up early as usual and decided to shower and get dressed before making breakfast for her and her aunt. Kaia has been living with her aunt since she was very little as her parents were killed in car accident. She showered and dressed in t-shirt white hoodie jeans Timberlake and her locket that had a picture of both mom and dad in it. She went downstairs and decided to make french toast and some scrambled eggs with bacon and grilled cheese.

After everything was finished she ate her share and covered her aunts with aluminum foil so it does not attract mice or flies. She grabbed her journal and put in her backpack along with keys and wallet. she kept the knife in her boot that was hidden and mace in her black leather jacket. She went outside to wander around

Everything was a blur as colors known and unknown zoomed past Tyler. His eyes were squeezed shut in some fear and some excitement, as he saw the end of the tunnel come closer and closer as he races at incredable speed. He hit the surface hard and everything darkened.

As he awoke, his eyes were blurred. They got adjusted to the sunlight that warmed up his face and he stood up slowly from the ground. "So.. Where am i?" He asked himself.

After an hour of walking around Kaia took a shortcut through the bookstore alley and it was empty so Kaia always took that shortcut over the street with people, she saw a flash of light and decided to investigate. She climbed up on rooftop leading to the alley and saw from behind a wall a tunnel with so many colors and bright lights that she had to shield her eyes.

when light passed she saw there was a man lying on the ground, she could not see his face and she hid little out of sight just so he would not see her. this was an unusual start to her day

Tyler for up, his legs not even weak from the fall. His arms were muscular and his face was chiseled. He was handsome as hell. He rolled his shoulders and both of them popped. He wore a kimono and a sword was clasped into his belt. His eyes narrowed as a cat popped up from a dumpster and into sight.

"A feline..? I guess this unknown has thee too. I shall need to get information about this dimension of world of I am here." Tyler spoke. He had a strong laced accent and it was a accent unknown to this world.

Kaia was on roof when she saw the man got up a stay at jumped out at him and caused him to jump back startled. he had a nice voice that was calm but it had think accent which she was unsure of. She kept an eye on stranger. Kaia never seen anyone dressed that way especially in California, unless it was comic convention. She peeked to get closer look at him but stayed in shoadows

The cat was now gone and Tyler was alone.. But he knew he wasn't. He brought his hand down on the handle of his sword and his eyes drifted upward to be sensed someone at! He couldn't see the person, but he knew someone was there. "Come out. I won't harm thee of you come out unarmed." Ty Let spoke on that same thick, velvetly, warm voice that made most women melt.

Kaia stepped out of shadows to reluctantly face them man. Who was this stranger and where he came from. She was not afraid of him but she was curious. She stared down in enigmatic gaze before jumping down onto garbage bin with loud thud then jumping at the ground. She looked up as man was slightly taller, she was observing, and smiled just as enigmatically as her gaze

Tyler was surprised it was a woman, but his demeanor didn't change in the slightest. Her had that bind around him that made him mysterious and almost scary. "Whom are thee, woman?" Tyler spoke in his accent, laced with some bitterness to his words. He was confused and he didn't want to deal with a supposed threat right now

Kaia raised an eyebrow at stranger. Who talks like that anymore unless there is play or convention going on? he was odd he was weary of her or just general.She found him fascinating. she then took out her knife from boot to show him she was also armed but put it back in her boot. She smiled softly and began walking away from him.

You may want to lose thees and thous,no one in California speaks like that. loose the weapon, cause you will get arrested for carrying that without a liscence" kaia said softly as she walked away, back home. This guys may cause some trouble but he was not her problem to deal with.

"Arrested? so the imperial army is here as well.. There are flooding to think I'll lay down my weopan." Tyler curses in a different language and listens to the girl. " Woman, you didn't answer my question? " Tyler snaps. He was usually kind, but he was confused and now pissed as hell

Kaia said nothing at first. this guy was weird and knew different language.This guy was differently weird and obviously not from this time.She turned to face him her brown eyes holding him in gaze.

"I am no one you should worry about. i have no interest in hurting you or threatening you. i just giving you advice. If yo want to stay out of trouble in California, hide the weapon like i do"She was not lying she did not want to hurt or kill this weird stranger but she was not gonna stick around and watch him wreak havoc

Tyler smirked and his eyes narrowed, "You are so ungrateful for a female. I guess this world is different from the one I come from... Or time. Maybe realm? SHit.. Where am i..?" His smirk faded and he looked around in the alley he was in, forgetting so about the girl.

Kaia shook her head. he was weird. but he was oddly handsome, though weary his demeanor was not hostile.
This is 2018 United States of America, more particularly California. Police here are weird but strict. so do not go waving your sword around or you will go to jail."Kaia said turning before turning around and heading back toward the street
