I'm planning on running a modern gothic fantasy setting using a very simple homebrew dice system that I want to beta test.
I feel like I could run this game for 5 players, maybe a couple more. It'll be set roughly in the late 90s, deep in the still, unbeating heart of a dying city where urban desperadoes struggle with authority, addiction and ultimately each other for a glimpse of something better.
The players in this setting will take on the roles of Vampires, undead parasites in a degenerate industrial ecosystem.

I want to incorporate some very light dice rolling elements in this roleplay, mostly for resolving combat or other uncertain situations. Mostly I want to run this as a freeform, character driven experience. That's why the rules I've written for this setting are extremely simple to learn and the entire thing could fit on a pamphlet. Character creation will probably take you about 30 seconds once you've figured out what kind of vampire you want to play.
If you have any questions at all please go ahead. If you want something and it's not already in the game I can probably think of a way to incorporate it.
