howdy folks! i created a character earlier that i thought i would use, but upon further thoughts i decided i wouldn't be able to give her the attention she deserves. so, i'm opening up a contest/raffle to win her!
here's the character in question- if you win, you're free to change anything about her. but for the time being, she's an amphibian-esque alien inspired by an axolotl.
so without further ado, here's the jist of things!
each participant must write a short story involving this character. entries can focus on any aspect of her- origins, personalities, even interactions with other characters.
there is no length requirement, but someone who writes a longer story with more opportunity for exploration is more likely to win over a few sentences.
the winner will be selected on creativity primarily, not just skill and length.
if you win, i will message you with an (optional) shaded version and color palette, as well as the file!
i don't have a particular set date in mind for when this ends. we'll just see about it~ if there's no interest in this, i'll just raffle the character off instead. hope to see some entries!

Hello! I would like to post an origin story. I hope that you like it.
San Angel, Mexico. A bustling and beautiful city day and night. Music, dancing, excitement. Dubbed the city of color. A very popular destination for couples, friends, and everything in between. Amidst the beautiful colors was Verdona. A dancer. Matched with soft see-through silks and bells she draws in crowd after crowd. The water surrounding her flowing through the fabric as she dances.
Verdona loved the attention she got as she swam and danced. The lights surrounding her tank making the colors on her body stand out even more. Blue offset with vibrant pinks.
As the curtain closed for the night Verdona swam to the surface of the water. Reaching out for the edge to pull herself out. The sound of water sluicing down her body wringing out in the dimly lit backstage. The silks falling from her body into a wet pile at her feet. Turning she grasped the rails of the ladder and climb down greeted by several people Verdona would consider to be friends.
A bright smile on her lips as a bottle of water was placed in her hand. Bidding everyone good night Verdona started for home. Thinking of her own bed she twisted off the cap on the water bottle and put it to her lips. As the cool liquid passed through and down her throat she heard someone behind her.
Spinning on her heels she saw a man. He was tall and well built. Looking out of place in his silver suit and tie. His hair wild and loose about his head. Falling in black curls to his shoulders. Tilting her head the man held out a card which she took hesitantly. "Verdona, I would like to offer you a job."
