The village had changed since he had legit almost a decade before, with figments of glory and serving Deus Invictus, and while he had served the Unconquered God, he had found little glory in the heathen lands. He had found a tidy fortune in a fat shah’s house, not of gold, well, not at first, but of saffron, grains of paradise, and sugar.

Now he found himself back, quite possibly wealthier than the knight who ruled the shire, between the gold, steel, and palfrey that had bore him home. He had purchased a hall house on a small plot land, and not even stocking the pantry and buttery had made a significant dent in his coin.

While he may have set himself up for a comfortable winter, he doubted his war wounds would allow him the comfort. But one of the changes that had come in his absence was an herbalist had started to help with aches and pains in addition to the local barber-surgeon. With a handful of lesser coin in hand he crossed the village commons, making his way to what had once been a tinker’s shop, the fenced yard that had one held the tinsmith’s wares and summer hearth was now filled with herbs and medicinal plants. Stopping at the gate he regarded the bell, the only apparent hold-over from the building’s previous occupant, much like himself it was scarred and battered, though it rang out clearly when he knocked it with his knuckles.

The small shop was usually quiet with maybe one or two children with a scraped knee running in crying. Lucielle didn't mind however as she tended to the greenery that gave the small brown and grey shop it's colour. The small yellow petals of a dandelion and the purple of the lavender accenting the place.

She was snapped out of her own small happy world when the bell sounded. She liked it worn down exterior so she kept it as a little token from the last owner. She put her things down abd softly tucked the few strands that had escaped behind her ears and headed to the door. She opened it softly to see the tall gentleman before her. She had never seen him before so she assumed he was a traveller. "Welcome. " she said softly and moved out of the traveller's way so he could walk in, "Have your l-look around to find what you seek." she smiled and cursed herself for her small stutter.

Ulrich inclines his head to her, stepping into the shop, “I’m not sure what I’m looking for, I know what I need it for though, if that will give you an idea of what to give me.” He looked down at the children, both foreign to him, before regarding the herbalist.

“I’ve developed an ache in my shoulders and knees due to my time in the east, the cold makes it worse.” He says, watching her think, “I don’t recall you from before my service to Deus Invictus...”

"I'm new here. W-well, a slightly fresh face. I came here about a year ago and settled." She ushered the children out quietly chuckling and smiling at them. "I think I have what you need however. Follow me." She led him around the maze of plants, most unknown if they didn't have small slips of paper with their name on them.
She landed on a common weed. A stinging nettle. She plucked a few of the leaves softly and carefully. "Put these into a tea and it should soothe your shoulders and knees. Putting it in a tea will also battle the cold." she smiled softly.

A white haired beautiful 6 foot 6 tall woman comes into the shop. A light gleaming off of her hair dims to a natural look. "Good day." She says to the two in the shop.
