((Notices, this character is a WIP in profile, but her concept is fleshed out, I'm just a lazy writer. Cassandra van Helsing. The last in a long line of monster hunters. With the weight of her family name on her back, and the dangers of hunting, every breath is fought for. A hard, near cruel woman, Cassandra was raised with the sole expectation of being a hunter. It is all she knows, and has created her violent exterior (even if she does show a more gentle side when the moment strikes). If you are what she hunts, beware. For she is a creation of silver, steel, and an ancient magic infused to her blood line to help her hunt what lies in the night.
Hunter: Perhaps you are also a hunter with a distinct lineage. Or a new one who is only just beginning to learn the ropes. Is there a similar target that you share, or have you hunted down the First Huntress to learn from her? If you know what lies in the dark, you are a close friend of Cassandra.
Enemy: Vampire? Werewolf? Or even worse fey (not that other things are worse, but she has always been testy when it comes to the fey). Are you one of the creatures in the night that Cassandra hunts? A vampire who has a bloody streak behind him? Or a hunter who broke law and killed mortal or monster that was not suppose to die? Is your humanity slipping away and now the huntress must hunt you and slay the beast you are becoming? Will you be able to convince her not to?
Magic: Cassandra van Helsing utilizes an ancient magic of runes that have effectively turned her into an anti-magic person. This has both benefits and curses. The whole van Helsing line is famous for using these runes, and you have heard of them. Do you wish to study and understand them? Or steal them for your own research? Perhaps you aim to destroy the runes on the huntress so she can at last be struck down by magic like any other man.
