To the kind-hearted, nobody should deserve to lack a home. Especially the young. But are you prepared to have your patience pushed to the limit by a sociopathic thief? Or do you relish the challenge of taming such an unruly kid?

Players aged 16+ are preferred. If you're a year or so younger than that and feel you're more mature than average, we can discuss things, but there will be extra limits set on RP to keep everyone comfortable regarding the age gap.
This is a multi-paragraph RP. If you feel you can't maintain a pace of about 2 paragraphs average per post, this might not be for you. Also, expect long posts from me early on - don't feel obligated to keep up with them and don't expect them to persist throughout; it'd be mostly due to me setting the scene.

Deril has been living on the streets for about half his life now. Ever since he fled his parents and started travelling the world, this has been his life style. He only recently chose to settle down and start building himself a stash of stolen goods, his magpie-like instincts finally getting the satisfaction they desired. The victims of his thievery were many; and yet he had never been caught. This time, however, he chose the wrong target... or perhaps, in a way he never expected, the right one...

RP DETAILS:
- 1x1 format.
- I will be using Deril's naga form (including the dichromatic vision option on his profile).
- Technology/Magic level is completely flexible.
Though I mostly play good-aligned characters... I must confess that I really really enjoy RPing as Deril here. He's insatiably kleptomaniacal, almost certainly sociopathic and un-alterably self-centred. But that doesn't mean he can't form a bond... it just happens to occur out of fondness for an individual's personality, riches or out of a sense of possession, rather than for any emotional reason (with the rare exception). Any behavioural concession is likely to occur out of necessity rather than guilt. On the plus side, he's playful, laid-back and loves to show off... and someone who can exploit those traits could find him to be a useful sidekick in their endeavours (and his sense of smell and thievery skills are very handy too).
Details: Freeform, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played one-on-one.
I don't know why, but he did catch my eye....perhaps I could simply have him as an aid, a young friend, or adopted child I totally won't forget about to save my skin...
