The year is 1000 AD. The church has fallen even though followers were at an all-time high. How? Well, the answer is simple. The world was swarmed and conquered by creatures from the underworld. Creatures ranging from imps to hellhounds roam the streets day and night, looking for their next meal, causing humans, elves, fairies, and everyone in that nature to be extremely cautious when walking the streets if they ever leave their homes, that is. Many people have abandoned their religion, cursing God for letting something like this happen to them. No one knows the true reason why any of this happened.
There are rumors spreading around the world of a woman who can guarantee protection from the beasts that walk the earth. Many are calling her the second coming of Christ, others believe she is a different god altogether. People have traveled from all over the country to see her just so they can be safe. It is rumored that the hellhounds have even bowed in obedience to some people who have received her blessing.
Will y/c come to see her in hopes of being blessed and protected or will they not believe a word she says and only try to prove her as a false idol?
