Well, kind of.
Type: Romance/Adventure
Propostion:
Two lonely souls find a book, one with which they are able to communicate with one another. They don't know the others name. They don't know the other's appearance. They do not know the sound of their voice. They know nothing about the other but their loneliest thoughts.
A little more detail:
Throughout the castle of Hogwarts, there lay two of the loneliest souls; one of the popular variety, who needs someone they don't have to be perfect around and the other of the subdued reading variety, who wishes someone will talk to them without thinking they're crazy. These two beings both find a book; one encrusted with a leather-bound cover and harnessed together by a golden lock. When curiosity ignites both their brains, they pick the locks and find inside the lonely thoughts of another.
All at once, they try to find the owner of these thoughts, thinking that it's a personal journal not to be looked at (more than it already has). But with the difference in year and house, this task seems to be impossible and both give up before they've truly started searching.
Of course, these two journals the students find are not simply such, which they come to realize when they find more words written in the book. They become intrigued with the gift and one decides to write in it, which causes the other to hear what they've written. They quickly find out that this is a form of communication they can use, and try to find the identity of the other with it.
The book, however, seems not to wish for the two creatures to know one another in person so locks itself back up when one tries to give personal information to the other. So, with only the help of each other's thoughts, they must find one another, for if they keep venturing into each other's thoughts, they may fall in love.
