Every sailor knows the tale of the sirens of old. A creature in the form of a beautiful woman that inhabits the seas, luring in anyone who dares to cross their path with their sweet yet haunting voices and dragging them to their death below the waves. Whether it's all just a silly myth or not, any decent seafarer knows they're a species to be feared and avoided.
"Beware the song," they say. "You might as well be dead as soon as you hear it."
But everyone good one knows of the value they hold. If captured sirens can lead them to the riches and treasure that lie beneath the ocean, and could be a valuable asset when dealing with any enemies. But the risk is always too great to even attempt to subdue one. Until now. Though it was just an occasional whispers and mumbles in shipyards and taverns, tales speak of a siren who's heart beats outside of her chest and whoever can get a hold of it will have her for themselves. But of course, it's all just rumours isn't it?
Then your character finds a very odd shell by the shore, one of a bright red colour that unnaturally beats in symphony. Just like a heart. And when the head of a beautiful young woman emerges from the water, staring at the shell in their hand before holding her own out in anticipation.
Perhaps it pays to listen to the myths of the seas...
Long story short, I'm looking to roleplay with my siren character Lavada in a sort of dark-ish romance inspired by the stories of a selkie's spouse hiding their coat from them so they can't return to the sea. But in this case it's a heart, but instead of just not being able to return to the sea she has to do the bidding of whoever has a hold of it. A pirate or sailor type character would probably work best for this plot, but it's not a requirement

❤️ I'm okay with any kind of adult themes. Gore, drugs, you name it. How far it goes really depends on how comfortable my partner is so be sure to tell me your limits if we do end up rping.

I'm a very busy IRL with priorities, depending on the length we're going for I'll either get to post once and day or once a week and I get discouraged if people are bumping me for replies after only a day. If it's been a while, like a few weeks or a month, and I haven't replied then feel free to shoot me a reminder, as I may have forgotten. But don't pester me for a reply after a day or two. I won't do the same to you, I ask you to return the same courtesy. Sorry if this one sounded ranty but I can't really get it across any other way.
