So, I know that was cryptic, so here's some non-cryptic info. The setting is mostly intended to be some kind of facility meant for containing highly dangerous magical entities. Possibly an asylum or prison? So your character will have to be able to work there in some fashion. Possibly a doctor or a guard, who will regularly visit Balistar, and have a reason to do so.
