Yo! So A while ago, like a week, I said I was world building and I'm still doing that but in the meantime. I'm now wondering if people wanted to play a D&D game. I am heavily inspired by Matt Mercer and Critical role. SO I'd like to try my hand at it.
I love MTG and am relatively new to the world but seek to read nearly all the books that are out so far and have collected a load of the cards simply because I loved the art. Sufficeth to say I really love the universe. But I got really captivated with Ravnica, a fantasy style corusant on the brink of collapse from the inside out due to it's 10 guilds. So Imagine my lovely surprise when I found the "Guildemasters' Guide to Ravnica". I HAD to play a campaign, but I didn't really know anyone who played it but then... I remebered! People like to RP here so let's try asking , there is no harm in that. (You can ignore the rest if you want)
So here we are! Would you, dear sir/madame, like to play a D&D Campaign in the MTG Ravnica setting? I would hope that you have Discord (and hopefully a Mic too but if not that's fine) and I as the DM (As much of an armature as I am) would like to say that I'd want to know what backstory you have, that I can sprinkle into the story (Keep it a lil secret, so it can actually be a story point). Ravnica is a deep and interconnected world and has many layers to it that the player can come from, have interactions with others and maybe even have something to hide. From the peaks of Ravnicas mutistoried spires to the deep and forgotten abyss of the underground oceans, ravnica is brimming with life.
The story might be a bit of everything but I just want to ask if you guys want to focus it on something, one of the three regular pillers of RP.
1. Combat,
2. Exploration,
3. Interaction.
I'm up for anyone hopping in part way for a bit of an excursion but I'm primarily gonna ask for maybe 5 or 6 players. Or maybe even 9 if people don't think they can regularly make it.
If and when we do combat we will simply set up something like a thing I will draw and scan then place onto roll20 and just use that lightly.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
