Hey, y’all! I’m looking for a smol hooman bean young human boy, between 15-20 for a modern fantasy RP. Romance is optional unless your character is underage, obviously. Paragraphs are required and judicious literacy is appreciated. Here’s what I was thinking!

They knew that one day, this time would come; when they’d be out of work because of legislation. As time passed on, Demon Hunters were increasingly pushed out of business by governments clamping down on them and delegating their jobs to police and military more and more. And now, Demon Hunters went the way of the Bounty Hunter; it’s illegal everywhere except the United States. After Japan, one of the last countries to have Demon Hunters (primarily because of culture), passed legislation outlawing them and delegating their responsibilities to the police, the Akechi Siblings, whose family bloodline had been Demon Hunters for over 800 years, decided it was time to move on. After promising prospects in the US, they bought a one-way ticket to the US, packed their things and got on the plane to begin life anew Stateside, as many other Demon Hunters had done over the years. A country as big as the US, there was no shortage of work for them.
Now, I’ve got a number of ideas on how Y/C gets involved with one of the Akechi Siblings, but the three that I’d like to do the most are as follows;
1) Y/C is on a camping trip with his parents and in the middle of the night while deep in the woods, they are attacked by a wendigo. The wendigo kills Y/C’s parents as they’re fleeing and by pure luck, your character (literally) runs into one of the Akechi Siblings who is on another separate job. They address and kill the pursuing wendigo and then return to retrieve Y/C’s parents’ remains for burial. After putting his parents to rest and with nowhere else to go, they offer to take in Y/C. Optionally, he can, instead, request to join them to become an Apprentice Hunter instead of going to live with other family.
OR
2) Y/C is the son of rich parents and lives in a mansion in a beautiful area somewhere in the countryside with tons of acreage. While it is a highly desirable area, there is a heightened presence of monsters and demons in the area, so Y/C’s parents hires a live-in Demon Hunter to keep them safe and settles on one of the Akechi Siblings.
OR
3) An offshoot of idea 2, Y/C instead desires to be a Demon Hunter himself, and so his parents hires an Akechi Sibling to live-in with the family to teach him and be his mentor.

I’d be interested in giving it a go. I’m not really an expert in the demon thing, but I learn quickly.
