Hello! I recently posted a starter for a supernatural slice of life roleplay centered around a school club for espers. Please check out the original post in the General Roleplay forum to check it out, though be warned that it's pretty long.
Anyway, you can get a pretty good idea of things just from reading that post alone, so make sure you read the whole thing if you're interested in this rp
I thought I'd go into a bit more detail about what the rp is actually about as well as recruit some dedicated writers to help me tell the story of Koroko and her friends. Let's get started, shall we?
Firstly, this roleplay is entirely styled like an anime or a manga, if it wasn't already apparent. To that end, I'd like to request that anyone interested in joining make their character(s) Japanese. I'm planning to go full-throttle with any knowledge I have on honorifics, connotations, etc. (as limited as they may be), so be warned.
Next, this roleplay is supernatural, and is centered around the concept of people with supernatural abilities called "espers". Espers manifest abilities called ESP to perform superhuman feats, and Koroko's ESP makes her completely unable to die from anything other than old age. Similarly, feel free to give your character ESP, even OP ones.
Just please, nothing overtly world-ending in its scale... I also think having the ability to nullify other abilities is a bit much.
As reference, the four types of extrasensory perception (ESP) include clairvoyance, psychokinesis, telepathy and precognition. Feel free to use any of those. I would also ask for one ability per person, but I might be open to negotiating if you can make a good case about it
Okay, what else...? It goes without saying that I'm looking for high school students. Including myself, about four people would work, though I can go up to five if enough people show interest.
Another thing: I didn't think I'd have to mention it since I felt like I might have conveyed it pretty well, but in this setting, espers are meant to be completely mysterious and largely unknown. Part of the point of the ESB Club is to study and research more about espers to learn their history, how and why people are given powers, and things along that line. For that to work, the first sentence needs to apply. To that end, I'd like to ask that if your character has ESP, please try and keep the origins of their power at least partially unknown to them. It would help the progression of the story if they didn't really know where their ESP came from or why they have it. Sorry if this seems a tad strict
If you have questions for me, ask away! Also with your post, be sure to submit your character idea. That includes, name (last name, first name preferably), age, and ESP at the very least, but any more information you can provide would help too.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
