The idea for this character came to me after doing a little bit of research into autism and its connection to synesthesia. I already knew about the condition, but something in my head clicked and I had I just had to do a character with such a fascinating condition as synsthesia.

Since synsthesia is heavily associated with creativity I knew that a big part of the character would have to be art and performance, and I also knew exactly what form of synthesia I wanted to use; chromesthesia, seeing colour in response to sound. I decided to make her female... because that's just how she popped into my head

Anyway... I already had a culture I had created wherein art, especially music and dance, where highly revered so I already had a species and culture to slide her in, I also decided to use the futuristic iteration of the race in order to allow for the main peculiarity of this character; her art.

Now I can also do her in magic-mediaeval settings just using illusions and similar magic, but I just thought the added effects futuristic tech can bring were too good to pass up. Lyra does concerts where she dances to music or sings whilst projecting all the colours she sees for the sounds as they shift and change, so sitting in one of her concerts would be something like sitting underneath or even inside the Aurora Borealis whist listening to music and watching people dance to it... which seemed really cool.

Now though... I have this character and no clue what to do with her. I don't even know what kind of RP I'd be able to use her with, but she's just someone who had to be created, if only as a thought exercise and creative curiosity... that said, if anyone has any ideas I'm open to them!
