RP prompts may be complete plot ideas, a single situation, a character, a feeling, a challenge, or even a photo to use as inspiration. Start a new RP to play them out, or use them to add a twist to an existing RP. Modify them, take inspiration from them, or use them as is!
Your family has lived on the same castle/farm/plot of land for what you've been told is countless generations. You've also been told never to go into the barn/west wing/forest as it is dangerous and haunted. However, money is tight and you've decided to sell your ancestral home to pay your debts. That means examining/cleaning out the supposedly haunted area. As it turns out, your parents were right. It is haunted! Haunted by the ghost of the original owner whom your ancestors swindled and murdered! Now it's up to you to work with this ghost to appease their spirit and right the wrongs of the past or you'll never get your debts cleared.
