Elliebeing

The name's Ellie, I’ve been roleplaying for quite a while now.
I'm a worldbuilder first and foremost, but also enjoy making things up as we go along. I prefer to set some things in place before starting, though. I mainly play fantasy-oriented stories, but will also delve into sci-fi, touches of mystery and/or horror, and have a soft spot for exploring the strange and unusual (places, living beings, or other phenomena).
I also appreciate some instances of danger or action to spice things up and spur the story along from time to time. Lastly, I am a slow-burn romance kind of player, meaning that I don't enjoy making characters fit together (chemistry evolved naturally is best!).

Some quick tidbits:
  • I'm flexible to match my partner's post length and writing style, but do tend to stay away from novellas. I range with how much I type, and typically give 3-5+ paragraphs per reply.
  • Some of my characters have a lot of background info on their page - this isn't necessary to know in order to play with them. I just have a bad habit of lore-dumping for my worldbuilding efforts.
  • I prefer to play with those 21+, as I am above that age and it’s my comfort zone. It is a no-go for under 18.
