From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Damn is like one of those fruits that is super prickly, but then you crack it open and it's nothing but delicious on the inside. He's gruff, but genuinely one of the nicest guys I've met. His characters are the villains that the RP world needs, but he's a good man. He's supported both my community and my art, and I'm grateful for both. A good man. I've seen firsthand how much they care, and the efforts they take to gloss over it. They bring me a lot of joy just listening to the way they genuinely praise others, and the kindness that comes out to me in the humor, and thought they put into storytelling, and those around them. I think there are very few who make me laugh as much as this guy in conversation and even less who make me smile from just the magnitude of silent good they do. (He'll deny it.) So we have been friends for a few years without actually RPing, and now that we have I must say I am not surprised at their speed and their skill level. Impressed, but not surprised because I've always known they'd be great by looking at their creations. Also, not many out there these days can play a TRUE villain. What to say about this dude right here? He has a walrus who wears a monocle. His writing just seems to suck you in and never lets go. I feel pretty lucky to call him a friend. Even though most of his brain children are creepy, the creator behind them is not. If you haven't had a chance to say hello and strike up an rp, I can honestly say you're missing out. Each and every time I roleplay with Overlord I know I'm in for a treat. Their use of descriptive, but not overly flowery words for each and every action and nuance motivates me not only to expand my vocabulary, but creativeness as well. They are without a doubt one of the best writers I've seen on this game and their characters are not only recognizable, they're revered to me. Overlord is that kind of person you meet in the room and wonder 'oh god i hope they think i am cute' to 'pls don't kick me". However they are rife with creativity and a generally generous and boisterous spirit to which can be attested to simply by interacting with them. Oh boy....where to start? I can't think of where to begin on this kudos. But here goes nothing. This person....is an absolute treat to work with on roleplaying things out. Soon as I met this person and talked to them? I knew we were clicking. I'm excited to see Overlords characters in action, and I loathe the time between our roleplays because the writing is so delicious and the content is even more amazing. Possibly one of the most amazing RPers I've come across in my 10 plus years on Furc. The depth, the detail, and the very clear effort put into their posting makes for absolutely addicting RP. As for just talking to themoocly , wow, can I just say I cant stop smiling or laughing. You are one of my very favorites.

I've known overlord here for years. Whether we are RPing or socializing, they're always amazing company. But speaking on the former, you couldn't possibly ask for a better, more fluent, descriptive, and captivating RP partner. If they ever wrote books, I'd easily steal them all off the shelves. They've got the knack that'll inspire anyone, as they always go beyond the beyond in effort. There's no lack of that, ever.
