From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Funny to say, but I met Lock back during a group RP where they had some genuine questions about my characters. Next thing we knew it, we were B.S.ing and plotting, and theory crafting some of our next ideas with each other while having fun in the group still. I've been rping privately with Locky for some time now and I can confidently say that he's up there with the best writers I've ever played with. His intelligence and wit obviously lend themselves to excellent writing, but what most impresses me about him is his incredible creativity, which shines through everything he does. What can be said about this guy that wouldn't be obvious at first meeting?! Smart, funny, kind and an amazing writer, I'd be backing up my words with swearing like a sailor if I could. So positive and hard working in the Tam'nyer-a' community I am so happy to have them be part of tam and to write in the same world as them! Lock is an incredible writer and a fabulous friend. I cannot thank him enough for approaching the challenge of a pre-written character and tackling it with such grace and fortitude. He's brought a piece of paper to life like nothing when someone is presented with a stringent outline. Lock is an epic writer and should definitely be appreciated! -

Holy Gods, L is stupendous. He might take a while (because the man is incredibly busy in real life), but he is a gent worth the wait. The characters he creates are as in depth as you and I. He is friendly, open, excited to spend time and be part of the group. L also has a heart of gold, to be honest, so what the hell do you have to lose? Talk to him! Plot with him! Get PM'ing.
