On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Let me love on you for a moment because you are great, even though you dare ascribe to this nonsense idea that you aren't. Ermahgerd. I totally love this woman. She is hands down one of my favorite people in all of Furcadia. Her art is amazing, her characters are fun, our ooc banter can't be beat.
