I had a couple RPs going with him I was enjoying, but suddenly he stopped replying.
I went to ask why, and noticed both characters were deleted... but not just that,
so was his user? He did so out of nowhere so I'm wondering did he get banned?
(If so I'm not asking for details, just curious as it doesn't say details when clicking his profile)
Or does any friend of his know if he quit?

I had something somewhat similar happen to me once. Was having a great time with this rper on another site and we had two roleplays together. She went on vacation, told me when she would be back and never came back. I never did get any answers about what happened to her and she didn't seem to be the type to just disappear. I hope that unlike me, you get some answers.

Yeah, both roleplays were going well. We both seemed to have fun.
But they didn't say anything about being unhappy or anything.
Just earlier I was wondering why I hadn't gotten any replies,
and noticed both characters deleted... then looked further into it,
and found they deleted their user/profile as well.

So I'm confused if I did something wrong? Or it was a personal thing? (I don't need details).
Or if they broke the rules and got banned? I dunno. Again, I'm not asking for a big explanation/details.
A simple 'he was banned' or 'personal reasons he left' something like that.
I guess I'm just curious, or making sure I didn't offend him or do something terrible to cause it myself?
I guess I'm just a paranoid bunny that way, always worried about offending people.

If their name is striked out, that usually means they (or the mods/Kim) deleted their account. I think it behaves the same for deleting the account or being banned (though I'm not sure), so it's not hard to tell for sure. All that's positive is that since his account is closed, his characters don't exist either. Again, this is shown when they have a lines (strike) through their names.

So either he broke some rules, or deleted it himself.
I guess I'm just worried I somehow offended him?
I have an anxiety disorder, so it's probably just me.
I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened.
I don't exactly want to know WHY, but WHAT. If that makes sense?

at this point. I just hope I wasn't the one that caused it.
We were having fun in our roleplays, at least I assume with his super-quick response time.
Though nothing I can say or do about it now I suppose.

Just because someone's name is crossed out it doesn't mean they were banned. Users can delete their own accounts and this is how they show up as well. All it means is that the account was deleted. Unfortunately, we're not sure why he quit either so I can't be much help on that front. Sorry!

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one worrying. I wasn't able to really get on all day, and I had several RP's going with him too. I came on getting ready to reply to all the RP's and noticed his characters and his username had been stuck out. It's really strange. He was pretty active in welcoming people to the community and he seemed to be enjoying the RP's we had going as well. I hope he's OK.

Yeah. He was so active and friendly. So it threw me off big time is all. I hope he's okay too.

Agreed i rped with him as well. Found out he was gone earlier, so im wondering as well. And Amirrora it definitely wasn't you.

The mod team actually had a discussion about our own surprise to see him gone! We got no indication that he was having any issue.

I just want to clarify -- this almost always means that they deleted their own account. The mod rate of permanently deleting accounts is less than three people a year on average, and the bulk of that tends to be for kids under 13 which we're not legally allowed to store information about. We aim for less serious actions whenever possible!

Yup, an account being deleted is an account being deleted, regardless of who did it, so both circumstances are indicated by the strike out.

We were enjoying a great rp as well! It is great to see him back!

Glad to know that, for the most part, my info was accurate! It's also great to hear that we have so little circumstances where banning is necessary. and, glad to see he's back!
