The village of Hasgramid is in distress. A strange and nightmarish beast was sighted ripping open the library doors and stealing a small pile of books and scrolls. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident, but it has been coming back for quite a few days causing quite a scare to the townsfolk. A guard of the village almost got slashed by the beast when it was running away towards the forest cemetery. No one has gotten killed by it yet, but the village is calling for aid to any and all travelers and mercenaries, to take down the beast before it has the chance to, and see where it takes the books. The grassy highlands are wrought with fear, and they need someone to end it.

The village of Hasgramid is nestled on a grassy hill, sparse with short oak trees. The morning sun reflects off of the stone wall surrounding the village. The north and south gates are guarded by heavily armored men and women with axes and round shields.

The Lord of the village awaits the travelers' arrival at the town hall...

When the stone wall came in sight, Ignir felt relieved. It's been days since she last saw a town, and her food rations were getting low. Given the big wall, it must be a big village, it should have shops and an inn where she could take a rest.

She walked a few more minutes before the gates came in sight. She smiled and then, she saw all the town's inhabitants, heavily armored, looking at her with round eyes, ready to attack her if anything was going nuts.

"Good morning." She said while taking her usual masculine voice. Making people believe she was a man was oftenly easier for her, by experience. "My name is Ignir, and i am travelling around, looking for anything that gives me cold! However, my rations are getting low and i need to rest, could you please let me in you beautiful town, so i can pay a inn?" She finished while showing the villagers a few golden pieces.
