The world this takes place in has two main kingdoms: Hoshido and Nohr. Hoshido is Asian/eastern themed and Nohr is European/western themed. In the game(Fire Emblem Fates), they're at war. This RP would happen either after the canon story or in an alternate timeline thing. FE Fates actually has THREE canon stories, so it's not as simple as one kingdom winning and the other losing. It's probably easier to use the alternate timeline.
You can also find this on Saizo, Kagero, and Asugi's profiles, but here's some ninja lingo.
Shinobi: Male ninja.
Kunoichi: Female ninja.
Ninjutsu: Skills and techniques used by ninjas, grouped under elements:
- Fire Ninjutsu: Starting a fire near an enemy stronghold and using it as a distraction while entering from the other side, using flaming shurikens and explosives.
- Water Ninjutsu: Using aquatic plants to conceal while swimming underneath, crossing frozen bodies of water on foot.
- Air Ninjutsu: Jumping from a high place and landing safely on the feet, moving at top speed to evade foes.
- Earth Ninjutsu: Hiding in a hole in the ground to avoid detection, moving through thick foliage and tree tops.
Sensei: A ninja teacher. While most ninjas are given training by their parents, sometimes they will train others, and be known as senseis.
There are four NPC students I've created, anyone in the RP can choose to write them, just let me know. I have claimed Choji. You're also welcome to make NPCs yourself, run them by me.

Choji is the nephew of Kotaro, an old enemy of the family I control. In the game, Kotaro allied himself with the king of Nohr and took Kagero as a hostage. In the game's backstory, he murdered Saizo's father in cold blood. You can read the profiles if you want more details, but that's it in a nutshell. Asugi has no idea he's best friends with the nephew of his father's mortal enemy...I'm thinking Choji will try to pull something, but I don't know what yet.
