Okay, so I'm a web developer . . . and I'm really interested in frameworks. I was wondering 'Kim' what frameworks do you use? I use PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript.
SQL is more along the lines of databases, but if you're just starting out, just go play around. It might also be worth branching out to software languages to pad your knowledge base, and now is the time to do it since you're young - get a strong handle on general home, familiarize yourself with the basic tags, and THEN start branching out into to more complex territory like php.

If you were wanting to check out more software based languages, I've read that C and it's derivatives, along with maybe PERL and Ruby would be good. For pure web development, I'd look at Java, Javascript, and a strong core ability with the basics. You don't 'need' php or database knowledge yet. Build that core knowledge first (and your instructors will tell you the same thing).

In regards to how Kim maintains RPR, I believe it's mostly Javascript and script fetching. She's told me a bunch how she does it, but I keep forgetting ;P.

Hopefully that helps you out some :)

I don't use much in the way of frameworks outside of jQuery and a touch of Vue of late. I've started dabbling with Laravel for some projects.

The RPR is primarily PHP with some javascript (mostly with jQuery) for user interfaces.

Cool, I use Jquery and Vue as well. I just started using Vue and it's very neat. So The chat system seems pretty complicated. I'm not quite sure how you could get a message as soon as it sent. I made my own chat system with Jquery's '.load()' function with a interval.

And for PHP I use the Phalcon framework.

So, you wrote RPR from scratch? (PHP wise)

I'm already planning to be a Java developer. I know I don't need PHP knowledge, but I've already built secure applications like RPR. I'm currently building a app/website called 'QuillnQuote', it's for writers. I'm also the best web developer in town, other than my Mom.

There is a few websites that were made locally. Man that site is bloated with unnecessary amounts of CSS and HTML. God I don't even know what their PHP code looks like. I don't want to know, but bad code makes me cringe, well bad code that I know of.

Neat! I built my first website from scratch as well. It's an RP site. I called it RP Resort.

So, do you use CSS3's flex flow?
