Not sure if this has been addressed before but I was thinking that possibly there could be a character archive where players can retire their characters and keep them stored away so that they aren't lost forever. Alternatively it could be available to only epic members and have a set number of spots (That can be expanded with purchases from the store for extra slots). This way a player can archive a character,k and bring them back out later without having to go through the entire character creation process again.

You can actually sorta do this already with epic membership!

Epic members get a bunch of temporary slots to use, and when the epic runs out, those slots don't get deleted, only locked from editing. So if you'd really like to store some characters away, then you can buy an Oil of Epicness and use those slots as your archive. (You'll only be able to edit those later by making space for them in your permanent slots though, as the priority goes to those.)

Alternatively, Enchanted Silk Cloaks (which give permanent slots) are pretty cheap and there's sometimes deals on, so you could snag some of those and always have space available. Hope this helps!

You can also apply the category "Retired" to those characters you don't want to play with right now, if you need a way of telling them apart. It's essentially the exact opposite of the "Looking for RP" category you can put characters into.
