It's the winter break. Christmas has been and gone and the new year has just come. It's back to work for your character's parents, and yet school doesn't start for another week or so. This of course means they have the house to themselves through most of the working day. But when a strange feral-looking partly-reptilian child appears in their back garden... well... things might just get interesting.
What would your character's parents think if they found them harbouring a stranger in the house? And who would believe them if they told anyone about the lizard kid that had turned up one day...? No, this would have to stay a secret...
Looking for: players who have a character aged 6-13 who can spend time with my character Riik.
Naturally no romance.
1x1 format.

I'd be interested in doing this!! I'd use either Lloyd or Cass, obviously ageing them down to about 10 (and making Lloyd entirely human instead of a mutant), if either of them appeal at all?

Ooooh tough choice.
On the one hand, Lloyd's difficulties with sunlight are definitely something Riik can relate to... but the colour-blindness might limit some of the wonder he would get from seeing Riik for the first time, given he's visibly quite colourful. His personality seems well-matched to give Riik a tour of the life of a human child. I'm a little confused as to what way he's transgender, as the rest of his profile makes no allusion to it (unless I've missed something)... but if his 10-year-old self retains that trait, I could imagine him more easily understanding Riik's lack of gender or sex himself.
As for Cass, well again, he has a fitting personality. Seems like a nice enough guy, but is a little less interesting than Lloyd... though perhaps this greater degree of 'normality' might work better for the scenario, given the greater contrast it'd create.
I'm a little stuck for choice.

I keep meaning to update Lloyd's profile with regards to his being trans and forgetting - I'll go do that in a moment! Basically he transitions at a young age (~5/6 years), his parents are much happier to have a son than a daughter anyway (because they like the tradition of passing inheritance down the patriarchal line and all), so by the age of 10 he's settled in his identity, though still legally female, if that makes sense?
With regards to the colourfulness, he does have a tendency to ask about colours anyway, so it's entirely possible he'd still get that "whoa that's cool" effect even without being able to see the colours necessarily, just a little delayed- and, of course, he's also still getting the impact that Riik doesn't look particularly human.
Cass could definitely work well I think, for that contrast, and he'd without a doubt give that wonder response upon seeing Riik- the major problem I noticed is that he has siblings who could get in the way a bit, whereas Lloyd is an only child left alone in a fairly isolated house, which means he's also much more in want of a playmate?
Honestly I think either could work fairly well- if you think Lloyd would work we could go with Lloyd, otherwise let's go with Cass, if you think Lloyd's more interesting?

Hmm... let's go for Lloyd then. Would probably work best without the sibling problems Cass has... kinda takes away from the whole premise of having a secret fantasy-esque friend. x3

Sorry to have to ask this, but based on your post here and the writing style used on the profile of the character you've written up on the site, I need clarification. Are you comfortable with a multi-paragraph-based RP format? Because if not, then I'm afraid our writing styles might not be compatible. I tend to prefer to RP using a more formal style. If you'd prefer a more casual writing style, perhaps there are other RPers out there on this site who might suit you better.
