Griffon paced back and forth on the docks, sometimes glancing down at the map in his hands. He had no clue how to get where this map told him he needed to go! It was a red dot with water all around, and a bit of land to the side! My first adventure and I don't even know how to get there, great. He stopped pacing and leaned on a post on the dock, sighing. Thankfully this port was on the map.

He wiped a bead of sweat off his brow. Wow it's hot out here. He spotted a small sailors tavern across the way and walked over to it so he could get drink, and maybe earn some money telling one of his Father's or Grandfather's adventure stories. He folded and put the map into his pocket before entering the building.

Hanzo was sitting in a shadowy corner of the tavern. He had heard rumors about atlantis being found, and was extremely interested. His whole life, his grandfather had talked about it, and filled his head with dreams of a lost city, far more advanced than our own. So, he found this little port town in hopes of renting a boat and some deep sea diving gear. But didnt have any luck yet. Apparently, nobody blieved him, or wanted to be liable for his death.

Griffon sat down at the bar and waited until the bartender came over. "I'd like a water my kind sir!" When this earned him odd looks from the hardened men around him he shrugged and said,"What? I don't drink!" The bartender shook his head and poured a dark liquid into a glass and put it down infront of him. All it got was a confused look from the thirsty customer. "Um sir! I asked for water, not... this." He did not belong here at all.

The bar tender leaned over the counter towards Griffon and spoke. "We don't got water sonny. Take your drink, pay your tab, and shut your trap."

Griffon leaned backwards and waved his hand infront of his nose. "Yes sir..." He put his money on the table and got up to leave, as he walked on is way out he gave the drink to a random stranger sitting in the dark.

Hanzo watched the poor man leave the bar. He got up and left money on the table. He walked out of the bar "New around here huh?" Hanzo caled out to the new guy. Hanzo approached the man and extended his hand. "Names Hanzo sir. And i dont suppose you have a boat do you?" He asked.

Griffon nodded. "I am indeed!" The man was still perfectly chipper. "Hi, my names Pardoner, Griffon Pardoner. Some people just call me Grif, some don't. And no sadly I don't my friend! I do have the money if I can find someone... The only problem is there are no sailors that will take me where I need to go!" He pulled out the map from his pocket and showed it to the stranger. The top of it read The Map To Eden. He pointed to the rocky formation in the sea where the red dot was.

"Well Mr. Pardoner, I've got the money as well, and I am faced with the same problem as you." He looked at the map and frowned. "The only thing that seems off is your map. I'm here, looking to go to that same exact spot. Only difference is I heard it was Atlantis. Never heard of Eden." He commented. He loked around for a moment before saying "I think I may have an answer. I know a fellow nearby, and he owes me a favor. Problem is, he is a little bit, well, lets not beat around the bush. He very paranoid, Mr. Pardoner. As untrustful as they come. And there is the chance that we might get shot at, or worse. But, in the name of adventure, I say, what have we to lose?"

Griffon smiled. "Why not?" He tapped the cutlass at his side. "I know how to fight, I'm not just a pretty face ye'know." He smiled and laughed. "Shall we go see your friend?"

Hanzo smiled and chuckled. Yes we shall. He lead Grif to his car and started the engine. "Hop in sir, lets get goin!" Hanzo smiled

Griffon just looked at the thing with a blank stare. "But what is it?" This was an odd contraption, he'd never seen one before.

"Why its an Auto Carriage! First of its kind and the revolution of trasportation on land! My uncle said that some day, these will be on every corner of every street." Hanzo smiled and pulled his goggles down over his eyes. "Whemever your ready friend."

Griffon raised a brow before quite literally hopping in. "How's it fare on the plank and cobble stone roads of a port city?" This would be great for a story!

"Just fine friend. But it will be a little bumpy." Hanzo turned a key and pulled some levers and the vehicle came to life. Smoke streamed out of the exhaust for a moment, then subsided as they drove to Hanzos crazy friends place. "Word of advice, speak slow and make no sudden movements." Hanzo cautioned.

"What about magic tricks?" He created a small ball of blue light in his hand and then extinguished it. "What can this guy do for us anyways?" Griffon was feeling very excited for this, it was his first adventure after all. He really hoped this would be a good one!

"That may freak him out, if it was enough to startle me!" He smiled "Well, hell give us a boat, and the diving gear we need." Hanzo explained. "Thats impresive though, that light trick. Ive got one of my own." Hanzo said and took one hand off the wheel. "Take that sabre of yours and chop my arm off." He smiled and nodded towards the sword.

He looked at the man, "I think I will pass!" He chuckled, it was just some of the minimal magic he had learned on his four years of travelling. "And I don't think we will need any gear, I've heard you can get there from the rocks, like a cave or something, I'm not too entirely sure what it is.

"Then your loss my friend. It truly is a splendid trick." Hanzo tunred to him and was confused. "I was under the impression that it was under water." Hanzo commented. He slowed the "car" as he approached his friends house. "My word, it looks worse than before! But dont let it fool you. He actually has a substantial amount of money."

"It is, they must have some way down, but you're right we should find diving gear, that will be hard to find though, it is a new thing." He looked at the house and frowned. "That's it?"

"Well, its not the greatest gear, and its really heavy and bearly tested. But, I really want to find this place." He looked at his associates house with a frown "Im afraid so. Looks like a dump." He took his goggles off and stepped off of the vehicle. "Well, no time like the present." Hanzo said with a smile and walked up to the front door.

"Andrew! Andrew you home!?"

"Don't need great, just need can!" Grif slung over the thing's edge and onto the ground. He gave a half smile at Hanzo's comment and followed him towards the house. He didn't do much at the moment, he wanted to see how everything played out. He took a deep breathe, oh how I have been missing out on adventuring!

"Andrew, its me Hanzo! Ive brought a friend with me and we'd like to talk!" Hanzo hollered at the house.
"That sumbitch from the bank! You tell that sumbitch I ain't givin them no more money! They've already took more than they needed!" Andrew hollered from inside the house.
Hanzo chuckled and walked back to his new found friend. "Im sorry about this friend. Maybe it would be best if you introduced yourself." Hanzo shrugged.
