I'm coming up on two years for a few rp's, though Covid, work, and life have caused some pauses at times in each of them.
Typically, I see roleplays last a few months or about a year at best - but these are definitely ones I can see still going for a long time
There have been times I've been overwhelmed (see above reasons) and times that I've felt guilty for not replying as quickly as I'd like, but it really has been a treat and that I hope (and plan) to keep each around for as long as possible!

Back in college where I had much more free time I roleplayed the same character in the same continuity daily for a year straight.
Nowadays it’s much more difficult for me to be consistent, but I really miss having solid, ongoing stories!
