The land of Shoren is old and dangerous, with ancient long-lost tombs full of treasure lost but not forgotten. Forests are full of monsters and bandits hide on the side of the road waiting for wealthy merchants, making travel dangerous. But in this world of dangers, there is also operability! someone wants to find those lost tombs, someone needs to get rid of the monsters and the bandits, those people are Adventurers!
Shoren is a dnd-like world full of Adventure! I'm not using dnd character sheets, just going for a sort of feel of the medieval fantasy worlds that are as it's campaign settings.

Iron age
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
