The prophecy goes that three individuals would ruin the world. Three so foul that their mere prescense would cause empires to fall. They would reclaim the earth for themselves and their demon companions, so for centuries the churches have tried their best to stop the coming of these three.
But when the day finally comes...
...Nothing happens.
The three, banished to the modern world, do practically nothing upon their appearance. But now being targeted by the church, and being chased down by a certain servant of evil, they need a place to hide. Someone to help.
And that's where you come in.
Or rather, your character.
You see, these three had appeared in your character's living room. They wake up to them clambering in the cabinets and looking for something to eat. They don't particularly seem of any threat, except maybe the one with the long tongue...

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
No romance at all will be included in this plot, period.
