Good day, looking for 1 to 5 players / co writers for this RPG/Worldbuilding project. Only looking for adults. The Game is primary centered as a semi-realistic sci-fi adventure, with a touch of cosmic horror. Romance is welcome if it fits with the plot but this is not primarily a romance story. Players can play individual characters (and their copies or clones), could choose to play entire crew of a spaceship or even a small colony (playing as basically administrator or ruler of the colony.

Have you ever wanted to travel the universe as an immortal being?

To see the distant worlds and far away star systems, meet odd alien creatures and possibly kill them?

The space is vast, dark and full of danger. Be it rebel colonies, rogue AI, competing factions or even enigmatic Lovecraftian aliens. And space travel is massive endeavor, requiring immense city size ships that travel at the fraction of the speed of light. Yet there are ways to travel faster...

Human consciousness as it happened can be recorded and sent as a data packet. If there is a suitable body organic, cyborg or fully robotic, and suitable equipment to transfer such consciousness at the destination the data can be sent via electromagnetic radiation, at the speed of light far faster than any vessel.

You are one of such individuals. Someone whose skills are deemed essential enough for the vast expense of sending your continues across the universe as data and valuable enough for an expensive body to be provided at the destination.

Elite warriors, skilled negotiators special agents or ultra rich oligarchs can be such individuals.

Whatever the reason the player(s) must be exceptional enough to warrant such an expense.

But opportunities are endless. And so are potential pitfalls. Early technology required destructive consciousness copying. Meaning the original body was for practical purposes dead once the consciousness was sent somewhere. Creating a sort of light speed travel, if one did not mind actually dying for their copy to appear lightyears away. But modern tech allows for consciousness to be copied without harming original. Which means several copies can meet each other, however unlikely it is in the vastness of space.

If you like to explore the universe in such manner or perhaps just have a question about this idea don't hesitate to message me.
