Hoping to start a romance roleplay with my character Aster. It would probably start with Aster having just hitchhiked into town or having used public transit to get to town and bumping into your character. From there we can discuss whether Aster is found out to be a robot/android and tries to not let your character give them away, or however else they go about sticking together. Will likely be a slow process of understanding feelings on Aster's part due to his lack of experience with personal connection. We can discuss any necessary details once you contact me.
For your character, magic or mythical elements are just fine so long as the setting is still modern-day. I don't mind short responses, especially if the dialog is quick or concise at the time due to back-and-forth, but I need something to build off of so please don't just have a dialog response or only one sentence.

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Modern
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Romance will be a major feature of this plot.
