🏛️ACHERON 🏛️
ACHERON is the story of the Ancient Greek world of myth & legend without humans. The gods, unpredictable & fickle, tired of their playthings & decided to get rid of the hairless, emotional bipedals. The next society would be, they decided, taken from the realm of beasts, more fitting, they thought, to their own brutal and bloody natures: wolves & dogs. Thus it was that one day dogs woke up to find their human masters gone without trace, & wolves found no hunters on their land. The gods themselves changed their appearance to reflect their new mortal subjects. Left to them was the overworld of Athens, left in the condition humans left it, & the bounty this civilisation left behind.
Someday, the humans may return untouched, unaware even that they have even been gone, & the canids will descend back into their natural place. History will resume as normal. For now, though, it is the wolves & dogs of Ancient Greece now blessed - or cursed - with the attentive, fickle eyes of Olympus…
ACHERON is a semi-realistic roleplay primarily based on the world of Ancient Greek myth without humans. Following the events of the Vanishing & the Mythmerge, canines have struggled to come to grips with a world that is both their inheritance & one not made for them. These myths are not just history but a constant reality - & their stories can be changed by your actions. Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
