Hey! in case your wondering what the heck this is, this is the story about the aftermath of The Manipulative Tentacles of The Devourer! This is currently Matt's side of the story after today's events after he and his team defeated The Devourer. But, in case y'all haven't played Epic Battle Fantasy 5, I'd suggest doing that now (unless you just wanna cut straight into the chase and do this already, blah blah.) Anyway, here's the recap at the beginning of the aftermath!
After a huge epic final battle, the Earth has now been restored to it's orginal state as The Devourer then exploded. Nobody knows when he'll be back soon, but this, Earth was finally free from the manipulative tentacles of the Devourer. Their mission failed - and without further commands - the Cosmic Monoliths were deactivated. As their dangerious radiation faded away, beasts and humans can finally relax again, and the wars that had been waging for entire days finally ended. The Party, also known as Matt, Natalie, Lance, Anna and Nolegs began to regain memories of their previous adventures - years of experience and friendship gradually returned to them. With the Devourer no longer controlling the Void, deleted information was slowly being restored from the cosmic recycle bin. The memories of terminated simulations flooded back into dreams and divinations. Now, let's see what changed about them.
Day 1 since the aftermath, Matt appears to be stealing less from innocent NPCs because both him and Nolegs continued to plunder dungeons. Natalie's harsh judgements had lead them towards more ethical missions and she could see that Matt was beginning to take things more seriously and Matt did his best not to let her down, despite the few setbacks. Right now, Matt is currently training with Nolegs in the distance (well no sh*t because you can hear sword clashing nearby.) I wonder what he's up to now, huh? Let's find out!

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance is slightly desired, but the overall plot is more important.
