i need ideas for how to plan my character's arc and how she will develop with the major story beats of baldur's gate, can anybody help?
she develops a romantic relationship with shadowheart, i think this should play a significant part.

I suppose you mean the continuity of your character past THE incident with the deity Mask?
Unfortunately I don’t know nothing about Baldur’s Gate. But I read the background and your character is very well defined, there’s no more to add.
Else what I can think of is the continuous rivalry between your character and the deity, if it is inside her or through outbreaks of the Mask. That can go up (she’s enough strength to fight against) or down (the deity takes the lead) and its perpetual seek. This is a lot psychological work as it’s more kind of imposed schizophrenia (Dr Jekyll and Mister Hide) and a constant dialogue between her and him. This affects of course more or less any possible romance. Does she tell him, or not, preparing her to tell the truth is quite an effort already.
For the inherent story to Baldur’s Gate (for the few I read) it’s full of demons and cursed creatures, her seek to get rid of that Mask can go through some of those present characters until some final encounter where either she has to fight against that Mask or he against another entity (with her in the middle).
