hello hello! so, this is not an "i'm trying to get around the rules", but instead a "i'm desperately trying to NOT break them on my first day here".
i have an rp idea in which is set within the fallout universe. it involves a character being kidnapped by a raider group, developing a close relationship to a raider that treats him kindly despite being not allowed to do so, one thing leads to another. yada yada blah blah blah. this is just important context that has to do with my question.
note: my question ahead contains triggering content regarding sexual assault. continue forward at your own risk. this is why it's spoilered!
raiders within the fallout universe often contain a lot of sexual comments, and often make threats against the player character, implying that many of them are rapists and sexual assaulters. my question is this: are we allowed to say something along these lines have happened OFF SCREEN, in said [player] character's past, or as a relatively recent event? important to note that the character is the VICTIM and not the perpetrator.
if what i described isn't allowed, it's easy for me to just remove it entirely! recovery from trauma like this is just a large part of this character's usual development, so i figured i'd ask before i even considered adding this to the post with the plot.

I would say that a better suggestion in this case would be to put that piece of information in the characters profile as part of their background, or within your ad, you can say something along the lines of “DM to discuss further details/read my character profile for further information.”
I adore Fallout so I completely understand what you’re getting at, but it’s probable that not everyone will, and some may misunderstand the intention or the purpose of what you mean when you mention that specific detail. Just mentioning Fallout in your ad will also attract the kind of players that already understand the world and its lore, so you won’t have to explain every step of the way who they are, or what they do.
