@Max
Aurora blinked a couple more times to get the confusion out of her eyes. There were so many different types of people rushing in that it was sensing her darkness side into full gear. With her hands on the menu, she tried her best to give the warmest smile to the horse that seemed to be dressed as a dear. It was trick or treating, why not?!
"Welcome in! The fall themed cake pops are free and there are samples of coffees near the door." Giving another smile before turning back to the origami person before her. Listening that they didnt eat or drink, but they knew someone who did.
@Orizono
"A medium pumpkin spice coming up." Her voice was as cheerful as ever as she moved over to the machine and began prepping it. Placing the beans in the grinder and getting the flavor all set. Everything in the shop was hand made and nothing was store bought. It was just how she liked it.
Looming over her shoulder as she made the coffee. "Take as many cake pops to your friend. I have made plenty." turning back to the coffee she began the finishing touches before moving with it to the register. "That'll be four fifty."

Orizono switches the ten dollar bill out for a five and hands it to Aurora, handling the coffee carefully as to not spill any on her paper hands. "Thank you very much!" She says with a hint of mirth, giving Aurora a wave before she heads off back to where she came.
She stops by the doorway momentarily before fully leaving and turns halfway to Aurora. "Oh, by the way, I love the decorations. I'll have to stop by another time!" She says with a bright expression, continuing her way away.

Taking the five from the origami person and quickly placing it in the drawer. Going to hand the fifty cents over to the person but they were already heading to the door. Placing the two coins in the jar in front of her before giving a small smile. ”Of course! I hope they enjoy it!”
Going back to cleaning up once more when they stopped and stating that they loved the decorations. The compliment made a small blush begin to creep on her cheeks. “Thank you. And please, stop by any time!” Turning back to cleaning the counter, she would begin to hum to herself. Something to pass the time till another would walk in and draw her attention.

Max approaches Aurora, a stupid grin on his face, the dimmed light hid his real identity.
He looks a bit astonished at that disguised female figure, wait, no, it is made of paper. He lifts an eyebrow with a tilted head - Yes Max, it's Halloween...
Another lovely pink girl as delighted by those give away pops, Max smiles friendly.
"Hey Aurora, trick or treat?" he chuckles "Or do I get a free one?"

With a lovely smile on her face, she let a small light hearted laugh escape her. It was no everyday that she got to see an animal walking around and speaking. He was even wearing... clothes? This was defiantly different than what she was use to.
Even when she is being a vigilante at night, this was something she never saw before. Still, she remained kind and warm to anyone who came into her shop. Always showing the nicest side of her because she never knew that type of day someone would be having.
"Oh! hmm," Placing her finger on her chin before she reached behind her, allowing the shadows to grab a bat cake pop from the back. As it slithered back and placed it in her hand. Bringing it to the front with a smile. "Would you like a bat? The eyes shimmer."

Max laughs, his antlers wobble dangerously and fall backwards, they weren't made to hold.
So, stands at the bar, that anthropomorphic draft-horse called Max, the local lumberjack, wearing very unusually some brown clothes instead of his red colored.
But he delightfully accepts the pop in form of a bat, still hoping he'd have something liquid for adults.
"I will not trick you, I love these, but I prefer something tapped."
He tilts his head, something bothers his mind, something he's already done once. The shimmer of a doubt rises in his mind.
He might have chosen the wrong tavern...

Seeing the antlers falling back from the figure's head made her giggle a bit. Not at him, but the notion of it falling backwards the way it did. But then when he took the cake pop, there was something in his eyes that tugged at her heart. Causing her gaze to soften a bit as her hands went to the counter.
”I apologize that I don’t have any adult drinks. Only coffee, tea and cute little treats.” Giving, or trying to give, a warm smile before motioning up to the menu behind her. A list of all different coffee types and chai teas. Almost sad that she didn’t have a single thing this person wanted or was looking for.

Max starts to have a very stupid look, the one you have when you realize you have just done the most embarrassing act you could even imagine. So he takes some fake proud allure, holding his head up, but all his frame crumbles together and his forehead finally lands on the palm of his hand.
“I think I have to apologize, it might be possible that I ran dumbly into the false tavern. ”
He looks up and scratches the back of his head. “Could you please excuse my stupid behavior, I…. I don’t know what to say. I feel like some stubborn donkey.”
He looks at that half eaten bat in his hand, he had nibbled one wing off. “But these are very very delicious.” he grins.
“I think I better leave, just a question, the strongest coffee you have, which would that be? I might need a good cup of that one, just to get this brain of mine going straight again. I’m sorry…”

Tilting her head as she slowly tried to wrap her head around the situation. Blinking a couple times before brushing it off. "It is not a bother at all. People have what they like and dislike. There should be a bar or something around here somewhere. If not, continue looking for it." Aurora gave a warm and bright smile before she heard the other question.
The strongest coffee? Placing a hand on her hip and a finger against her cheek, she thought for a moment. "I would have to go with our house blend The Smashing Pumpkins blend. We get the seeds imported and then I grind them myself. Nothing added to them." There was a bit of pride in her voice before she brushed off her apron. "Would you like a cup?"

The smell of coffee and pastries had brought him in. Just finishing a twenty four hour shift Lucas smiled some as he looked around the shop. Walking up to the counter he smiled some. "Coffee black please and a few of those pastries if you would. Been awhile since I had a good cup of joe and a good treat." He said his Station 12 jacket on and his uniform seen. The man was happy to be here and more excited to know he could relax finally.
Max nods with delight to the offer for a coffee, a Smashing Pumpkin self-grinded essence of dark coffee...
This might just be the right thing for this horse, that could get his thoughts back to normal. It's really Max, this will always happen to him, mixing up things.
- Ok, embarrassment gone, get up again you ol'donkey, drink that coffee and go bother some other -
Max adjusts his antlers again, one of the ears got a bit folded when the diadem-like headband fell off. Max got his four ears again.
He looks at the fireman, that disguise was way better than his, looks almost real. He lifts two fingers above his brow bone and moves them away towards the fireman, murmuring a "damn good disguise" between his teeth. Little does he know that he's next to a real, exhausted station captain, the one that might have fought the forest fire near his house.

Quickly making a small cup of the Smashing Pumpkin coffee, she placed a cap on it with a smile. Making sure she didnt burn herself as her eyes flickered to the fireman. Raising a curious brow before continuing to hand the cup over. "On the house today. You are welcome to tip, but for someone to try a house blend for only today, its free.
Giving a warm smile as she turned to the fireman at the counter. Coffee, black. A few treats in a bag and handled with love and care. Grabbing a scones, a cake pops and a triple chocolate muffin. Moving swiftly to the coffee pot, she poured a cup and placed the lid on with ease. Moving back to the man with a bright smile "So three treats, one free so two. And a coffee black."
Tapping on the register before adjusting her hair. Making sure it was out of her face. "Your total is ten dollars and twenty six cents."

Max gets his ‘small black’, it smells delicious.
“Well the … that’s what I call coffee.”
He takes his unfinished bat pop, hears the amount the fireman has to pay and starts to rummages his pockets.
Come out to bills, a ten dollar and a five dollar.
“Oh darn, what the heck, this should be enough bucks for both of us, that disguise merits payment.” Max laughs, lays the 15 ‘bucks’ on the counter, stands up and leaves the ‘Harvest Bloom’ not without a friendly mannish tap on the shoulder of the captain.
“See you, that coffee was a real magic potion, thanks” can be heard before the door closes behind him.

Seeing the amount on the counter, her head tilted to the side. Quickly grabbing the ten and the five before placing it in the register. "Seems to be your lucky day Captain." With a warm smile, she turned back toward the machine and began cleaning it. The shadows around her beginning to shiver and shake with her breathing. Almost like they were alive and not a part of her. In truth, they were and they weren't. There was much about her power that she didn't truly understand.
All she knew what that it was powerful enough to deal with villains, even murder's. They let her walk through flames and dodge bullets flying to her. But for now, they lay dormant. Twitching every so often is someone paid close attention to her shadow.
