Sooo... as told, I am new here, kind of.
I'm peeking into various threads already, wanting to appreciate existing users' roleplay, or discussions. I have a lot to look at and everything looks new and interesting and exciting, I love this feeling
One thing I gather already, (to no surprise) is that people here have a wide arrange of interests and styles. I figure it could be really interesting to get a feel for what sorts of things people here like, and how they like to carry out their games. I figure this is a nice way to try and jump into things and get a feel for the community, I might get some inspiration and maybe reach out if it seems likely we could be compatible RP buddies. Compatibility and mismatched expectations seem to be a point of failure right after scheduling issues, do they not?
Ok, so to the topic of this thread, here's sort of my background:

Ok, so to the topic of this thread, here's sort of my background:
- Format-wise, I've been playing D&D 5e for a good few years now, mostly offline with friends, though dabbled with text/voice online and have dabbled in other TTRPG formats as well. I often like the structure TTRPG's offer, since it helps push things along, but I'm not glued to it.
- Playstyles- I'm still not entirely sure what my playstyle is but I think I generally like a lot of action and chaos, and the sense of exploration
- Fandoms- There's lots, but a big one throughout my life has been Maplestory. Recently I've been working on a sort of D&D homebrew world (with a few custom rules) to maybe run a game for my friends (and-maybe here if anyone is interested). Other fandoms that have fascinated me from a fanfic/rp potential point of view in particular, have been: Code Lyoko, Harry Potter, Avatar: TLA, RWBY, PMMM, SAO/ Log Horizon, Pokemon, and uhh more recent additions might be Supernatural and Firefly- all to varying degrees, and there's probably more I forgot to list
