Max sue and sue bot would eventually make it to the gas station as well but from the back side of the station not seeing anyone *

Max: ok sue and sue bot if you want you guys can take the front side of the station where the pumps are I can take the back door of the place and make my way threw from the inside or we can do the opposite it's up to you two

* he said as he would grab his shotgun from his back and check if it was loaded and off the safety * *

Draven had been on the road for a while now. He didn't know what day or even what time it was. The sun was shining in the sky so he thought it could be midday or somewhere in the afternoon. The heat beat down on him. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and stopped to catch his breath. He looked around his surroundings. With a hand over his eyebrows he seen a gas station just a few miles down the road. "Hmmm maybe there's so leftover water so something. Hard to tell. Looks abandoned to me" he said to himself. "You'd probably tell me it's worth a shot" he says looking down at his wife wedding ring which rest on his left finger. He adjusted his backpack on his back and headed towards the gas station.

Willow was out of sight of anyone. But that didn't mean they couldn't happen to cross her path. She was out in the open, and recuperating from her walk. She was on high alert though, and had her bat gripped tightly in her hand. After a little while, she decided to continue through the town. There were a few unwanted shufflers, and she really didn't want to fight them. Willow heavy sighed and stuck close to the wall of a house.

"Shit..."

She cursed as she tried to figure a way around them without alerting them. They were slow, so it shouldn't be too hard to get by them, even if they heard her. Willow was unaware of the others in the area, and didn't expect to run into anyone alive.

* max would then ready his shotgun and kicked open the back door of the gas station there were a few different zombies stuck on fallen shelves and fridges he would hit the butt end of shotgun into one of the zombies and grabbed a heavy skillet and bashed the other few zombies in the head killing them instantly and making a comedic sound from the pan *

Max: I didn't know breakfast was done already * he said with a shuffle as he would then start scavaging anyhting in the middle of the gas station*

Draven finally reached the gas station. It felt like forever for him. He stood just outside the door. Placing his head on the wall near the door, he peeked inside through a window. A few zombies were stuck on some shelves. "Well, at least they're not going anywhere." Draven opened the door which made the bell ring. *Ding!* The zombies inside started to move more intensely to the sound of the bell. Draven looked around at the place. Can goods, broken glass, a few gas canister's, some money. Candy bars. Everything inside was a mess. He picked up one of the candy bars to read it. "Just geat. Expired. Just my luck." He didn't see any water though. Or any soda for that matter either. "Someone definitely hit this place up." The voice in his head told him 'Yeah, keep searching. You might find something' so he did. The shelves were in the way towards the office. The two of them were stacked against each other. Draven looked over the zombies. One had a gas station employee uniform on with the name "Bill" on it. "Mind if I look around boss?" Draven chuckled a bit at his own joke. 'That was a bad joke' the voice told him again. "Yeah, guess your right." Draven could hear voices coming from the back. He stood there listening to them. "Should we hide?" He asked. 'Probably. Wait it out. Not everyone is dangerous.'

After successfully making it past the biters, Willow fully reached the gas station. She heard sounds coming from inside, and carefully approached the window to peek in.

"Damn..."

After seeing what appeared to be an actual living person, Willow decided to watch for a few minutes. Luckily, she was still mostly out of sight. But if Draven turned around and knew exactly where to look, she would be caught.

"Dammit!"

She cursed to herself again.

* max would stop scavaging the back end of the station mainly just finding rotten food and paperwork and such nothing of interest *

Max: man I thought gas stations were ment to be convenient
* he said to himself as he would then drop the skillet and try opening the employe door that went into the front of the station he would find out it was locked he would then try and start ramming the door a little to to see if it would budge before doing a forceful kick swinging the door wide open *

Draven, caught between fear and excitement decided to speak. "Hello!? Whoever is there in the back of the station, I'm unarmed. The dead are stuck. Your free to move forward if you wish to." He waited for the stranger to speak before making his next decision.

* max would hear the stranger calling out to max telling him he is unarmed so with the trust of the stranger telling him that he put away his shotgun on his back he would then walk out into view of draven *

Max: noe mister if you plan on tricking me then you better make your move quick couse that'll be the only one you get but I'm going to trust you and have a civilized conversation I'm max what's your name * he said tense but also open to being relaxed if this man means no harm *

Willow heard Max and almost went as white as a sheet.

"No freakin' way... That jackass is here?"

She watched things play out, but wanted to bust down the door the whole time. That wouldn't be a good idea since there would be a good chance she could get shot from startling him.

"I wonder if the stupid van is here..."

Willow remembered the first time she and Max had met, when she had snuck in the back and hidden until the time was right. She did smile at the memory, and took a deep breath. Willow would wait to see what would happen. She was still mad at Max, but would back him up if this new guy tried anything.

Draven relaxed a bit as Max put away his gun. "No sir. I'm gonna take out the dead here." Draven grabbed his hatchet and drove it into both zombies heads. "Okay, your free to move about. If you want, I'll need help moving the shelves out of the way." The voice came back again 'see, not everyone is out to get you.' Draven slightly smiled at hearing his wife's voice.

* max would then relax a bit and pull out a joint and light it in relief and once the man said he was just clearing the place out *

Max: well man I'm glad we can be chill about this I'll help ya I took out two dead beats in the back room there but you never know how many are in a place * he said as he would walk over to him next the the shelves*

Max: I'll help ya move it just have something ready in case a zombie is underneath something alright * he said as he would then grab one end of the shelf and get ready to push *

Relieved that a fight wasn't breaking out, Willow also relaxed. She still wasn't quite ready to meet these two head on just yet though. Willow decided that for now, staying outside was the best course of action.

Sue nodded to Max, taking it was her cue to grab Sue bot and fill up the gas tank. After the two went out to the front they could hear some frying pan sounds - and Sue could guess that he found some zombies in there! It happened quickly, and then there was silence. Sue smirked to herself as she thought about Max's words on the Bible, and Sue bot figured out the gas pump and started to fill the can; then Sue heard two voices talking. There was a stranger with Max, and she didn't see him go in. She didn't worry, since Max could take care of himself, but she cocked her gun and held it to her side just in case there was trouble, or any more zombies.

By the time Sue bot was done, Sue pat her on the back and led her inside once more to regroup. She was holding one arm around Sue bot's shoulder when they walked in and saw the two guys getting ready to push over some shelves. "What in the hell is going on here? Max did you reproduce while i was away?" she laughed while she eyed the two, knowing fully how dumb the joke was. But it's the apocalypse, who cares? She snorted and looked at both of them, and then directly at Draven. "Name's Sue, this is Sue bot. Gotta say you did a good job sneakin' past us. Whatcha doing in the middle a nowhere?"

She tucked her gun into the front of her belt, nodding to Max to show she meant no harm.

* Max getting ready to push the shelf quickly turned around to see sue and sue bot walk in and heard sues joke it made him laugh a little that she was trying to joke around as well made him feel like comedy wasn't all dead *

Max: sue this is draven he says he's just trying to clear the place out like I was doing I can see you got the gas so that's a great thing * he said happily seeing the two alright with no danger to them *

Max: how about we help draven clear and loot this place then if anything I'll give you two the keys to the locks on the van and to the van and you guys can just drive up here pick me up and we'll draven if you'd like you can ride along with us we got s van and a settlement just a few miles out of this little place it's not amazing but it's got a good amount of people and food if you like bland rice and reused meat and vegetables* he said with a slight look waiting for dravens response*

(( no worries 👍. It happens. We all got lives and such. Happy to have everyone here 😀)) "Appreciate that. Let's push the shelves against the wall. That way we have room." After the two guys did that, Draven noticed Sue was now inside. He clinched his jaw a bit. "Sorry. I don't do well around people. Especially a lot of them." Draven was lost in thought

Max: oh no worries friend we've all been there but if your not around someone for so long you lose your mind in my opinion * he said as he would start looting some shelves with some stuff on them after they moved the fallen shelf *

Max: if you want we can search another part of the station if that would make you feel better

Willow rolled her eyes as she listened in on them.

"Hah! You're one to talk about loneliness..."

She mumbled to herself. Willow sighed and checked the perimeter outside. Other than a handful of ghoulies off in the distance, there really was no immediate threat. Willow still wasn't sure if she should make herself known just yet. But it would be dark soon. She could risk being stuck there alone, or she could finally approach the group. Willow chose the latter. She strapped her bat to her side and knocked on the window. After knocking, Willow sidestepped slumped to the ground just in case anyone opened fire.

* max would then head the knock on the window he would turn quickly pulling his shotgun out and aimed it ready and would signal for the others to stay in there and max would then open the front door causing the bell to ring of the door and max would walk out and look left then right where willow was he would then have a shocked expression as he would lower the gun max was pretty much speechless*

Max: well I can't say I'm surprised you crazy lady * he said with a slight smirk * max: so you killed all that horde to what come and get me next * he said as he would put the shotgun away *

Draven turned towards the sound of the knock. "Who's there??" He shouted. He placed his hand on his hatchet in wait.
