* max would have his happy expression turned down to understanding but he knew that kinda pain *

Max: well don't worry let's get going on wedding singer * he said trying to lighten the mood *

Willow took the joint again and took a hit from it. As she listened to the talk talk, she frowned at the part where Draven said he lost his wife. Willow passed the joint back to Max and turned around in the seat to rummage through the stuff in the very back of the van. It had pretty much been left how she remembered. Messy, but a bit organized.

"Hah! There it is!"

Willow grabbed her bag from before. It had her beanie, a pair of worn work gloves, some strips of metal wire, and a plushie. She would turn back around and sit on the seat as she went through the bag. She was looking for something specific, but couldn't remember if she still had it.

"MAX! Did you eat my secret candy ba- Oh, nevermind. Here it is!"

Willow pulled out the candy bar and broke a piece off. She then grabbed the plushie. It was a duck. Willow looked at it, then looked at Draven. She looked at the duck plushie once more, then offered it and the piece of candy bar to him.

"Here. Anytime you think of your wife, just give this little fella a squeeze. It'll bring you happiness! And chocolate heals all heart aches, so here."

Willow didn't know if squeezing that duck would bring him happiness or not. But it worked on kids before the fall of the world. So why not try it on an adult, she thought?

Max: you do know that candy bar is like old right * he said as he laughed forgetting that willows bag was still in the back but it also brought him joy seeing the familiar face of willow being happy and not all bad ass like *

Max: you know I still find it funny how that thing helped you when you first showed me it I thought you were pulling my leg honestly willow still I can't judge what makes people happy

* he said as he would take a drag from the join and max started driving with everyone in the van back to the camp *

Willow broke the rest of the chocolate up then leaned forwards, shoving a piece in Max's mouth.

"Yup, its old. But it doesn't go bad!"

She stuck her piece in her mouth and then offered the last of it to Sue.

"Plus I haven't had anything ro eat in a couple of days. So, yeah."

* max swerved a little when she would do that but he would still start to chew and eat it it actually wasn't half bad for it being old *

Max: well if your hungry there's still the cans of food I keep under the bed there go ahead and open one and eat willow knowing you you try and find candy for your food supply * he said laughing a little *

Max: but I mean it is always a win if you do find candy * he said as he would pull onto the dirt road that took a little bit to drive back to the settlement*

Max: ok not far now you guys and there will be a few people that'll give you looks and all but I'll explain everything when we get there so nobody has suspicions or anything

"That's okay willow. I appreciate the thought." Draven climbed into the passenger seat of the van. When willow offered up the candy bar he took it and ate it. In between bites he spoke. "Not bad. Definitely old. But still tastes like a candy bar." "Max, people been giving me weird looks for a while. Some have even called me nuts, crazy, psycho." He looked down at the ring again. "This is all I have left of her. I had to burn her. Her and I, we're all that wad left of a smaller group. Once she passed away, I was all alone." Draven took in a deep breath, looked out the window and a few tears flowed out.

Max: trust me man I've had the same deal I just unfortunately don't know that kinda relationship with someone but still Im sorry man * he said looking in the mirror and sighed *

Max: just think that if she's gone right you can't fill that space right try and fill it with something better or the exact same feeling of her if that makes seanse or atleat that's how I've been doing it

* he said trying to show that he wasn't alone in this situation *

(Yanno what? We didn't get gas, lmao.)

(But weren't you low on gas in the van?)

(I thought we were driving out to kill a horde? OwO)

Draven nodded and wiped away the tears. "Oh I forgot to tell you. There was a gas can in the office. I managed to snag it just before handing you those cigarettes." "It's in the back there by everyone's bags."

(There we go guys. Draven got you lol)

(Are we driving back home or to the zombie horde? Sue bot has the wheel hehe)

(I've cleaned up my profile a bit. That way it differentiates the three versions of Willow I play. I'll add more detail to each of them as I go. Just letting y'all know in case you need some backstory for her. Or in case anyone is interested in one of the other two versions.)

(Also, I'm confused. Max said he's driving, but Sue said her robot counterpart is driving. Who the hell has the wheel? Certainly not Willow, because she doesn't know how!)

(xD we'll figure out this little debacle lmao little bit of incontinuity it's ok)

(Heck we can even say they used the pump a second time to fill the can back up just in case before getting in)

When everyone was ready to get back to camp, Sue bot got in the driver's seat and Sue sat down with the gas tank tucked under her seat (and if Draven can still have another gas can that he found too that's fine) and Max ordered they return back to camp. Sue bot affirmed and started to drive towards there but Sue raised her opinion. "Hey Max weren't we going to take care of a zombie horde before they get to us? Why're we going back to camp?"

( ya that sounds perfect honestly lol and sorry for the delay everyone been kinda busy lmao )

* As she asked max about the horde he would ponder in his mind a little on that choice *

max: well that's the thing me willow and draven can't exactly go against a horde so if like the have the camp as defended as possible but if anything after we get willow and raven set up for the next day we can go out where we think the horde is just id rather have a good defense if my offense doesn't work you know *

Sue chuckled, putting her book away. "Max, I told you I was going to take care of it, didn't I? Don't you believe me? My secret weapon?" She glanced briefly towards Sue bot before looking back at him and then the others. "I just thought you guys would like to watch the show~ but if you wanna hunker down at the camp that's alright. Do you need help putting up defenses then Max?"

Max: well I mean I'm sure none of us would mind watching you go and use your secret weapon just don't let willow see how you operate it or I'm sure she would try and snatch it from you to take out any zombie she sees

* he said laughing a little at sues confidence not doubting her but also not wanting to take such a risk but if she insisted of them seeing then who was he to say no *

Sue laughed a little! "Hah! Ouch! He doesn't trust you that much does he?" Sue stuck her tongue out at Willow, but gave her a wink too. "Men. Amirite? But don't worry, I won't have to lift a finger to use it~"
