Alexandria felt puzzled by the woman who was staring at her. She met the gaze with a cold glare, keeping her bolter close. While she wasn’t planning to do anything reckless, she knew that anyone who attacked her would regret it deeply.

“Why are you staring at me?” she called out across the room as she sat with her legs crossed. Turning to Blaze, she said, “Coffee, please…” and then fell silent again. Alexandria certainly didn’t want any trouble, especially not with the woman and man present. Their abilities were mysterious to her, so she regarded them with caution.

He didn't worry too much about her, but he would protect her at all costs—even from the woman sitting there, her weapon visible. Feeling her head lean against his shoulder, he embraced her softly, appreciating the warmth of her body against his own skin. He held her close, wanting her to feel safe in his arms.

"Everything will be fine," he said, glancing at Alexandria. Then he turned to Blaze and asked, "Can I have some vodka?" His gaze returned to Camilla's beautiful eyes. "I will always be here for you, Camilla. Don't you worry about that," he added with a gentle smile. He wanted to ensure that she was in good hands—his hands.
