Camilla finds it freeing to be able to order blood without judgment or retribution. She watches the pink-haired bartender. Blaze refers to Derek's order, she turns to Derek. "What would you like?" She squeezes his hand and gives a smile, then she hears the comment from the hooded stranger. "Me?" She points at herself. "Was I staring?"

Camilla breathes out; that blood flow resonates viscerally, and a hypnotic feeling comes over her. She blinks as Derek addresses her; the hybrid's eyes shift attention towards Derek, gazing up into his face, her palm on his jaw. "I am not afraid," she says confidently, but that hooded human woman is intriguing.

Camilla smiles at Blaze. "Oh, this is all new to me, but I'm fine, really." She takes the glass; her eyes drop at the blood, this is surreal. Did she think she'd ever ask for such a drink as a surgical nurse? No. "Thanks Blaze." She smiles at Blaze and turns her attention to her Derek, the man more than just a date but her protector and confidant. "I'm fine. I think."
The hybrid lifts the glass and sips slowly, and that tang washes along her tongue, and it stabilizes Camilla for now. "I'm okay. I think I was just thirsty." She wipes the excess blood off her lips. She hears the white-haired woman, and her eyes widen, "That...thing?" Camilla almost chuckles and keeps her eyes on the glass of blood, gaining some confidence after drinking. "She has me all wrong. I don't want to eat her or anything." Her green eyes shift from the white-haired woman to Derek, "Is she scared of me?" Camilla breathes in, "I can talk to her if you think I should?"
Blaze smiled at her and stood there for the time being. "I'm just making sure, ma'am. I want to ensure nothing happens to them while they’re in here," he said to Camilla. He noticed her gazing away from him as he smiled at the two people. "Well, I’d better leave you two alone. If you need anything, please let me know," Blaze added as he walked away toward the counter.

Watching her take a drink from the glass, he wondered what she was thinking. "It definitely looked like that, Camilla," he said, laughing a little at her. "I don't think I recognize that weapon," he added, glancing at the strange object the woman held. It looked foreign to him, as if it came from somewhere else. He stared at it for a moment, contemplating its origins before turning his gaze back to the woman, filled with curiosity.

It's not a worry for Camilla to be seen to have Derek as her boyfriend; she'd be proud if that ever happened in the future. "Well, he's...not a dhampyre. But I think it's best you ask him?"
She leans against the counter. "I don't know what you are, Alexandria. But I am curious." Camilla feels safe because Derek is sitting behind her and allows herself to connect to the stranger.
