Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Renaissance
The world IS war, but there may be RPs that don't feature it. Warhammer Fantasy/40k, etc.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, one-off scene. Will be played with a small group of players.
This sounds like fun, if you're alright with a furry character! Here are some ideas for characters I could use if you're interested:
Jooters Blaccat: my fursona! A troubled, traumatized boy who went through a lot as a kid, but still keeps a bright and happy attitude. Would probably be determined to escape, but yet also feel compelled to explore. For this RP, I could have him be anywhere from 5 to 18.
Tommy: a very shy boy in comparison to Jooters. Very young, and gets scared very easily. Could be a good way to test his courage, plopping him in an unfamiliar place and offer good character development.
Zachary: A boy around Tommy's age. Grew up in an abusive household and tries to act tough and is focused on growing up as soon as possible. Tries to act cool, but will probably falter in a scary situation such as this. This could be a good test to see how long his cool guy act can last
Thomas Rodrider: an 18 year old boy who grew up in a neglectful home and in environments where he was raised to be as good a boy as possible, but after he came out as gay, was more or less abandoned. After realizing everyone would always look down on him because of this, he stopped bothering trying to act as he was expected to and performed a complete 180. The childish environments could remind him of the childhood he never had.
Jack Wicked: A tired 17 year old boy who's experienced countless traumatic events. He'd probably find comfort in the more childlike areas, and wouldn't be in a rush to escape, preferring to lay on the floor and think.
