Mato is a young man in need of a friend or mentor to accompany him on the journey that is life and getting older. Now that he’s 13, he’s given a bit more responsibility to take care of himself, and undergo his rites of passage.
This will be a story of survival, adventure, and action. His foes will be the animals he needs to hunt, other tribes over those hunting grounds, and outsiders coming from the east in search of conquest. Maybe even little romance if you’re interested. So basically it’s a historical roleplay.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
