Do you feel the sudden urge to chow down on human flesh? Unless you’re a hobbyist cannibal, you may want to see a doctor! Any individuals who may be experiencing dental rot, decrease in cognitive function, unusual homicidal and cannibalistic urges, and/or a sudden hatred of cuddly, fuzzy kittens should see a medical professional to receive care immediately! Due to its symptoms, some have dubbed the virus to be ‘zombie-like” in late stages, but reports show that less than %2 of patients have died before showing symptoms.
A vaccine is currently under clinical trial and the government is making an increased effort to place safety measures for its citizens. As of current status, the virus is NOT a global outbreak and as the CDC states, “everything is under control.”
Rumors of a virus spread around the American West after a hockey team on their way to nationals mysteriously fell ill and began to attack their teammates, killing many. News outlets report that they have yet to find any more cases, but the whereabouts of some of the players are still unknown. One such player is named Cole Novak, who dissapeared from the scene and his body was never recovered. Families have been plastering missing posters around the city.
Some are more worried than others, dubbing the infected ‘zombies’ and preparing for apocalypse, while others believe it’s just a fear mongering tactic by the government.
This RP would work with a partner or a small group!

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is desired but not required, and will balance evenly with other plot.
