Greetings! I have been largely lurking for a couple of weeks now, predominantly looking for things that catch my eye.
Using the Find RP tool to do so has not worked very well for me however, and I'm uncertain it is working as intended- at least for me.
Firstly, every time I open it or refresh the page, I am treated to the tutorial popup. Going through its steps, or closing it immediately, does not seem to impact whether or not I will be shown it again in the future. Closing it is not a major issue, but it would be nice if there were a toggle of some kind to disable its assistance.
Secondly, the X button on each post does not appear to work- the post does not disappear, forces me to the top of the page when I click the X, and I have seen them reoccur when refreshing regardless.
Thirdly, it doesn't seem to show me things I am looking for when using the 'Search topics where OP is active Right Now' toggle- I usually have been using that to see what is fresh, but doing so I seem to miss things that are not even a day old... so I'm not sure what it thinks is 'right now.' And due to the above two matters (primarily the second) refreshing without the OP Activity toggle gets me a lot of things that I've already seen and largely am not interested in.
I do not need the tool and am quite happy here regardless of it, but it would be very convenient if it were working properly!
If it needs to be known I am using the site on Firefox, which I know sometimes does not play nice with nicer features. So if this is just a personal/browser problem, do please let me know and I shall kindly stuff it.
