Personally I'm a big fan of xenofiction. I would say my first big entry into this genre of fiction was the novel Raptor Red, which tells the story of a female Utahraptor in the Cretaceous. My second brush with the genre was on a Jurassic Park fan forum named JPLegacy, with their Live the Legend RP. In both cases, I found it interesting how the world was explored and described without dialogue or thoughts, just purely how the characters felt, and what the saw, smelled, and heard on the environment around them.
So, I was today years old when I learned something new; xenofiction. Had no idea there was a term for this kind of genre that The Wild Accord is based around.
My first introduction I remember to this xenofiction genre was a book about horses, I wish I could remember the name of the book, but it was through the eyes of this young filly who got separated from her heard and had to endure a tough winter alone while struggling to survive.
With The Wild Accord, there wont be just one type of animal though, I expect there to be a variety, from birds of pray to little field mice. Elephants even. I am glad it does spark interest though.
