Heya! I’m Cynwave (or Cyn), and I don’t know if you’ve seen me around the site, but I’m usually the one to go to the RP that’s the most recently posted/recently commented. I’ve finally built confidence to post a RP ad.
So as from the title, Nevermore is my own world I built a few months ago. It’s slightly in a WIP phase, like changing things here and there, but overall, everything is good to go. The people who inhabit the land goes as the following: Sapiens (humans), Animalias (talking animals), Therians (half-human and half-animal), and Mythians (mythical creatures).
I’m looking for anyone up to RP and intrigued with this idea! I love to RP and help others! You don’t need to make a new OC for this world if you don’t have too!
I’d really recommend to not write one-liners, if you may! At least a paragraph would be perfect!
I’ll accept any concept, but I will NOT tolerate NSFW or mean users. This is my first time hosting, so please bare with me.

Long ago, when the first stars began to faintly glimmer in the sky for the first time, the Goddess walked the land of Nevermore.
After a terrible calamity, she and the other gods decided to depart from the world, to merely watch over the races from above the clouds.
However, the Goddess wished for protection for the races, so she invented, alongside the other gods, the Principles of Nature.
She made the four core Principles for life on the land: Water, Earth, Wind, and Fire, each with their own title: Serpent of the Ocean, Terraformer of the Earth, Raptor of the Sky, and Phoenix of the Flames, respectively.
Each of the Principles represented their own race:
The Serpent represented the Animalia race, an evolved group of “animals”.
The Terraformer represented the Sapien race, humans.
The Raptor represented Therians, half-Animalia, half-Sapien.
The Phoenix represented the Mythians, legendary and mythological creatures, ones out of this world.
Ever since then, there was peace… until that day.
Something happened to the Mythian King. She went… insane. Manslaughter, it was. She used her people to simply place everyone out of their misery.
Her friends had no choice but to seal her away—her Spirit sealed away in a Burning Bush.
Ever since then, Mythians were hated. They were driven out of their homes, discriminated upon, until they all culminated somewhere far away.
And the Principles didn’t stop them.
Now, the land ceased itself, and returned to the calm state it once was. The three remaining Principles returned to their own Kingdoms, ruling. The people were thriving for the next thousand of years, relieved that the calamity ended.
But was it truly worth it?

Mundane? What's that? Magic permeates every part of the setting. Almost everyone has access to strong magic.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a small group of players.
