Heya! The name's Avery. University dropout in their 20s who loves to write stories.

I'm a little new to roleplay though. After struggling with writer's block for quite a while, I wanted to see if this would shake things up enough to get my digital ink flowing again. So far I've written mostly fantasy stories of all kinds (including mediaeval and low fantasy) a bunch set in modern times, and I've dabbled in a few science-fiction things too. But for roleplay, I'll expand my horizons a bit; a lot of things are possible if the plot hook is interesting enough!

Outside of writing, I love playing games (old-school Minecraft my beloved) and listening to music. I occasionally doodle here and there. I 'stole' my neighbour's cat ever since it decided to wait on my balcony until I give it its well-earned headrubs.

I hope this is good enough for now. I'm still getting used to the website and the whole roleplaying thing. But either way, I'm looking forward to writing stories together!

Welcome to RPR! It's a great place for stretching the creative muscles and finding a surprising amount of friendly fellow writers. Well. Maybe not surprising if you really think about it, but I wasn't expecting so many kind and thoughtful people when I first joined! There are various events that go on throughout the year, like sometimes there's a AMA event, sometimes there's a character building event where you ask for help building a character and people give you ideas! So everyone makes weird Frankenstein backstories with cool details as a community... People are really cool and the holidays are fun too! I come and go, but I'm usually around for one shots at Halloween or something. Have a good time here!
