It was not on twenty-first of June that this Soirée was going to happen, no it was on twenty-second. And this had two good reasons. Well one of them not being quite so good, as that doe Lizbeth was late, late on date, late on preparation. She wanted so much to organize again her Soirée that she missed the date. It is to notify that she lives ‘out of time’ as she doesn’t read yet. She’s learning, but reading a calendar is still complicated.
Yet there is that second good reason for changing from first summer day to second summer day evening. Lizbeth’s good friend Roude Léiw was in need.
Roude Léiw, the emblematic red lion, heraldic animal of that little country called Luxemburg, didn’t have a place to organise his birthday. Not literally HIS birthday, but rather of his excellence, Grand Duke of Luxembourg. Please do not do research on that birthday, Roude Léiw will personally explain this, be patient, it’s complicated. Roude Lieu did think about Lizbeth and that she missed the date was just a premonition for this lion. He will do all festivities at Lizbeth’s. So just be prepared that it might be slightly more grandiose than the first edition of Lizbeth’s Summer Soirée. Even advertising was written with a big A.
The place is the same, and this means we are talking about Yassin's tents and that lake where Lizbeth lives nearby.

You must admit, being in a Soirée where the birthday of a Head of a State was to be celebrated has to be a BIG event. But then again, Roude Léiw was very tamed by a doe. The lion had to give in to that deer, that anthropomorphic deer called Lizbeth Redwood and had to slightly shrink his ambitions (a lot). Yet, the budget of the party exploded 100(0) times of what Lizbeth was thinking to spend.
Advertisement has been done, promises made and even hopes of Higher Visits not kept unspoken (Roude Léiw really hopes to have some Duchess visiting)
So, this time many surprises could await the guests with an unsaid apogee at the end. No, there will be no divulgations. Just people will have to admit to be presented Luxembourgish specialities and traditions, be prepared to travel to Europe for an evening.
Roude Léiw, Lizbeth, Max and Yassin (that arabic camel, friend of Lizbeth) finish last preparations. The Luxembourgish Army was present to ensure proper unfolding, on-time preparation and accurate decoration of the bedouin tents that Yassin lended again to the doe.
The place at that beach of the Crystal Clear Lake was filled with things, stands with specialties, little flags and photos of the Grand Duke’s country. Roude Léiw was everywhere, always with a Roud-Wäiss-Bloën banner.
Everybody is welcome and as said, the Army is securing the place, no not that over-excited testosterone dripping US-Army, no better, the Luxembourgish Army, better than 100 Max’s (you know him from last year).
Just bring open-mindedness as you will not find usual beverage and food, only if you live in that little country that bared Roude Léiw.
This Soirée is really open to everyone, even those that hate this doe.
Just be respectful to anything, this includes the RPR rules (PG-13)
No fighting allowed, IC catfights will be handled with appropriate reaction
Magic is allowed, but as said, be respectful towards the present people and things, just don’t destroy anything
Bathing in the lake is allowed, even Lizbeth will wear a swimsuit, bring one with you if you want to plunge
Music is present, assured by the Army Big Band, Max and a quite ‘powerful’ sound system (no need to bring crate balls to prop into your ear, Lizbeth wakes that the speakers will not blow more than a whisper into your ears, no guarantee on Roude Léiw considering the pitch level!!!)
Please have a nice evening
Will follow a speech of the Official Coat of Arms of the State of Luxembourg: We name Roude Léiw
Welcome Wëllkommen dear guests
May I just introduce myself, my name is "Roude Léiw", I'm the heraldic Red Lion of the Luxembourgish State, official representative of the National Coat of Arms of his Excellence Gran Duke Guillaume V of Luxembourg, Duke of Nassau, Prince of Bourbon-Parme.
Welcome to the celebration of the State, on date of the 23rd of June, 5 month exactly after the Date of Birth of her Highness Grand Duchess Charlotte. The date of 23rd of June was established in the year 1961 and since then kept as National Celebration Day of his Excellence the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. We must admit the weather to be way more clement at the beginning of summer than the official 23rd of January.
S.A.S. Guillaume V is born the 11th of November and made the oath of Grand Duke on 25th October 2025. This is his first celebration of National Feierdag in his reign.
So my most respected friend and host of this Soirée, kindly accepted us Red Lion, Roude Léiw, at her summer Soirée to celebrate the Luxembourgish Nation at least for one evening. Thank you Lizbeth Redwood, Thank you Max Force, Thank you Yassin Ghazal Jamilah for their kind support.
Please come all in and learn about Luxembourgish 'Spezialitéiten an Traditiounen' (specialties and traditions)
